Refusals and urgent
A deportation order requires a person to leave and stops them returning until it is revoked. If removal is imminent, contact us the same day.
This page is general information about UK immigration routes. It is not advice on your case. Rules and fees change. Confirm the current position before you pay a Home Office fee.
A deportation order is made under section 5 of the Immigration Act 1971. It is different from ordinary removal because it also prohibits re-entry while it remains in force.
The letter controls the remedy. An appeal may exist where a human rights or protection claim is refused. Revocation is the route from outside the UK when circumstances have changed. If removal is about to happen, urgent action is the third route, and it narrows once the person has left. Appeal deadlines are often 14 days in the UK or 28 days outside. Read the letter.
This work is quoted individually after we have read the papers.
The AHM professional fee is confirmed in writing before we start and can be higher if the case is complex. We strongly advise a 30-minute initial consultation (£70) first. The UKVI application fee is paid to the UK Government and is not included in our fee. The Immigration Health Surcharge, priority services, biometrics, translations, and English or TB tests are also separate. Confirm the current government fee on GOV.UK before you apply. See the full fee schedule.
